As work on Project Metal moves along, we are happy to report that our developers have a first iteration of the new graphics backend. We’ve tested on metal in an iOS simulator and things are looking good. Next steps involve running this on a device to find and fix issues related to that, and ensure the new OpenGL ES backend works properly on Android devices before starting to integrate this work into the Infinite Flight codebase.
