20.1 Developer Update
The long-awaited version 20.1 of Infinite Flight is here. We have added so many new features and we're excited for everyone to give it a try. Incidentally, everyone did give it a try, as soon as it was available for their device. We always experience high loads at release times but this release again pushed the limits of what our system could handle.
We were prepared for the load in terms of server resources, however, with the large and sudden influx of traffic, we discovered some load-related bugs that we weren't aware of. Our developers are working around the clock to not only improve loading times, but they are working on new ways to pass data back and forth from the servers to optimize the process.
Some improvements have already been made to Infinite Flight on the server, whilst others will require a hotfix, which we will send to app stores in the coming days. These are mostly related to opening your grade table, as well as map related queries that the app makes. We thank all of our users for their continued patience while we improve our systems to handle more users than ever before.
