Infinite Flight 26.3 brings all three. From the arrival of the Airbus A350-1000 to expanded terrain coverage in the world's polar regions, plus an all-new Flight Assist mode, this update continues to build on the realism and accessibility of the simulator while introducing new places and aircraft to explore.

Welcome the Airbus A350-1000

Ever since the A350-900 joined the fleet, one question has come up time and time again: "When is the -1000 coming?" Today, that answer finally arrives.

As the largest member of Airbus' A350 family, the A35K has become the flagship aircraft for airlines around the world. Whether it's crossing the Atlantic with British Airways, connecting Australia with the world for Qantas, or flying ultra long-haul routes for Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific, the aircraft has quickly earned its place among aviation enthusiasts.

The A350-1000 joins Infinite Flight with 13 liveries:

Project Sunrise Takes Flight

Among the included liveries is Qantas' VH-OJA "Vega", one of the airline's Airbus A350-1000ULRs destined for Project Sunrise. Designed to operate some of the world's longest commercial flights, these aircraft will enable nonstop services from Sydney to destinations like London and New York, pushing the boundaries of ultra long-haul travel.

Now you can experience those ambitious routes for yourself in Infinite Flight.

Flying North of 60... Again!

Back in 2022, we published an article called Flying North of 60, explaining why realistic terrain disappeared as you ventured farther north. At the time, the global elevation data available to us simply wasn't good enough to extend terrain into the polar regions.

This update changes that.

By combining multiple elevation datasets and carefully validating the results, we've been able to bring terrain to regions that were previously flat. It wasn't as simple as merging two maps together. Early attempts introduced obvious issues, including elevation data where oceans should have been perfectly flat. After plenty of refinement, the result is terrain that better reflects the real world across Earth's northernmost regions.

Whether you're island hopping around Iceland, exploring Greenland, flying through northern Canada, or crossing the Arctic on an intercontinental route, those flights will now look far more like they should.

Helping You Stay in Control

Learning to fly an aircraft manually takes practice. Managing pitch, bank, airspeed, and coordination all at once can feel overwhelming when you're just getting started.

That's where Flight Assist comes in.

New in 26.3, Flight Assist helps pilots maintain control by preventing excessive pitch and bank angles during manual flight. By reducing the risk of stalls, spins, and other loss of control situations, it provides an extra layer of confidence while still leaving you in command of the aircraft.

Whether you're taking off for the first time or simply want a little extra help while hand flying, Flight Assist makes it easier to focus on learning the fundamentals and enjoying the flight.

As a bonus helping hand, you can try using our on-screen joystick controls. Many users have found this to be a helpful way of maintaining control of the aircraft instead of tilting the device for pitch and roll movements. Head to control settings to configure your control mode and Flight Assist.

Beyond the headline features, 26.3 includes a number of improvements throughout the simulator.

Control setup has been refreshed and reorganized, overspeed and stall warnings have been refined to make them easier to notice, jet bridge door selection has been improved, and selecting parking positions should now feel much more reliable.

We've also fixed a variety of issues, including ATC speed assignments, parking location selection, accelerometer controls when external hardware is connected, map flickering while zooming, Chinese font downloads, and several other bugs that improve overall stability and performance.

The Airbus A330-800neo Arrives

The Airbus A330 family continues to grow in Infinite Flight with the addition of the A330-800neo.

While it shares many similarities with its larger sibling, the A330-900neo, the A330-800neo is one of the rarest modern widebody airliners currently in service. With only a handful of operators worldwide, it offers a unique mix of real-world routes. The aircraft launches with five liveries:

• Kuwait Airways
• Uganda Airlines
• Air Greenland
• Airbus House
• Generic

If you're looking for real-world inspiration, Kuwait Airways operates the largest A330-800neo fleet, serving destinations across Europe and Asia from Kuwait City. Uganda Airlines connects Entebbe with destinations such as London, Dubai, and Mumbai, while Air Greenland uses the aircraft on its iconic route between Nuuk and Copenhagen.

Of course, the Airbus House and Generic liveries open the door to even more possibilities, whether you're recreating delivery flights, test flights, charter operations, or building your own fictional network. Look for an A338 route blog article soon!

Jetbridges Go Multiplayer

One of the most visible additions in 26.2 is synchronized jetbridges.

For the first time, you'll see jetbridge movement from other pilots in multiplayer, adding another layer of activity and immersion to busy airports. Whether you're parked at a gate preparing for departure or watching traffic arrive around you, airports now feel more connected than ever.

Combined with existing passenger boarding features, synchronized jetbridges help bring airport operations to life in a way that's visible to everyone around you.

Ground Operations Continue to Evolve

Ground operations have come a long way in recent years, and 26.2 takes another step forward.

Our first animated fuel truck joins the growing list of available ground services, bringing additional activity to airports around the world. Like other ground services, it supports both multiplayer and replay mode.

Passenger boarding controls have also been expanded, giving you separate control over jetbridges and stairs, along with more flexibility when managing individual aircraft doors.

Supported aircraft also gain access to a Ground Power Unit (GPU), providing another option for managing aircraft systems while parked at the gate.

Better Tools for Flight Planning

Flight planning receives some long-requested improvements in 26.2.

The new Undo feature allows you to quickly reverse waypoint edits, altitude changes, procedure selections, and even accidentally clearing an entire flight plan. Whether you're building a complex route from scratch or making last-minute adjustments before departure, it's now easier to experiment without worrying about losing your work.

We've also refined several flight planning screens and layouts to create a more consistent experience throughout the simulator. Pilots can choose whether the Flight Plan navigation panel appears on the left or right side of the screen, making it easier to tailor the interface to their preferred workflow.
