Today, we are releasing the first major update of 2023! Infinite Flight 23.1 contains the largest selection of new 3D airports ever in one update, along with 10 new aircraft liveries, and an improved multiplayer experience.

A better multiplayer experience

Over the last few months, our developers have been busy reworking our multiplayer servers. This work was required in order to keep moving forward adding new and exciting features to multiplayer. In addition to improving reconnection logic after a flight is interrupted by the device, plenty of crashes have been fixed for ATC controllers as well. Ultimately, this work also paves the way for new animations (other aircraft ground service movements for example) at airports on the ground.

New liveries

As has been our custom in recent updates, we've added 10 of the community's top-voted liveries across 4 different aircraft in the Infinite Flight fleet. These include the Jet Airways B777-300ER, Lufthansa B789, and Flair Airlines B738 to name a few. We are always listening to our community and strive to include the liveries that our users want to see in the app.

Airport Updates

This update also features 268 new airports! Head to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (ZSPD) for some amazing detail and scale. Other airports of note include (but are certainly not limited to) EDDB, LPPT, OBBI, VCBI, and KEWR! Scroll to the end for the full list.

What's next?

As we noted on our development timeline in early March, we have some UI changes coming down the pipe and a few features that will help curate a more interesting and unique user experience in Infinite Flight. Our goal is to deliver our new secret feature with UI updates, even more 3D airports, and the Challenger 350 starting in 23.2, and onward. In the meantime, our 3D artists are underway working on the mighty A380!
